Beekers Capital successfully sells ADPI to Yellowtail Conclusion

Beekers Capital’s ADPI exit: acquired by Yellowtail Conclusion, boosting growth, compliance, and innovation, marking the founder’s first successful investment exit.

1.      Happy to announce that B2B SaaS mortgage advisory platform and Beekers Capital portfolio company ADPI has been acquired by NPM Capital-owned Yellow tail Conclusion!

With my very first exit as an investor comes an end to one of the most exciting times I have had in my career thus far

I met ADPI founder (and now great friend) Maarten 2years ago, and was immediately impressed by his business acumen, product building skills, and tenacity as a founder of two (!) companies within the at-pi group (ADPI and OHAO)

We had such great conversations about the good, the bad and the opportunities of the business, that we realized we should partner up and make the opportunities happen

In Q3 2022 Beekers Capital acquired a minority stake in the at-pi group, and I assumed an operational role as director next to Maarten and started executing:

1. Financed the business through the investment
2. Created real-time financial insight, forecasts, and thereby full control of cash flows (and stopped relying on a slow bookkeeper..)
3. Renegotiated financing terms with financiers to provide runway
4. Renegotiated with suppliers to provide runway
5. Executed team restructuring to become cash flow positive as a group
6. Managed large customer relationships to fuel per-client growth
7. Implemented growth strategy and hired commercial director Jorik who hit the ground running
8. Doubled MRR y-o-y

So.. if that all goes well, why sell now?

Yellowtail Conclusion approached us with their strategic vision for a combination which was as simple as it was compelling

1. ADPI is the most innovative and user friendly cloud-native SaaS product for the mortgage industry (trust me, they know..)
2. Yellowtail's most trusted clients are the financial institutions ADPI wants to serve (revenue growth acceleration!)
3. Yellowtail has the resources, organization, and bank-grade compliance you need to serve these financial institutions (which would have cost us years, and millions to do standalone)
4. Yellowtail will continuously invest in the innovation of the ADPI platform(remaining the best)

The combination of revenue acceleration, client access, bank-grade compliance, and continuous product innovation makes this deal a no-brainer. A win-win for all involved

Maarten will continue to lead the business within Yellowtail, supported by Jorian and Chanakarn on the development side and Jorik on the client side

OHAO will remain part of the Beekers Capital portfolio and I will continue to be a director there
